Returns & Refunds Policy

Overview

At Console Box Protector, we take pride in producing high-quality protective cases designed specifically for collectible items. Because these products are size-specific and often produced in limited runs, our returns policy is structured to be fair to both collectors and the business.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Change of Mind

We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect selection, or compatibility issues where measurements were provided prior to purchase.

We strongly encourage customers to check sizing information carefully before ordering. If you are unsure, please contact us prior to purchase and we will assist where possible.


Faulty or Damaged Items

We will offer a replacement or refund if:

  • The item arrives damaged

  • The item is faulty or defective

  • The incorrect product was supplied

To be eligible:

  • You must contact us within 7 days of delivery

  • Clear photos of the issue must be provided

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition

Once assessed, we will determine whether a replacement or refund is appropriate.


Pre-Orders

Pre-order items may be cancelled before production has commenced.

Once production has started, pre-orders are considered confirmed and are no longer eligible for cancellation unless the item is faulty, damaged, or significantly delayed beyond the stated timeframe.

If a pre-order is delayed significantly, we will communicate openly and offer appropriate options where required.


Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.

Please allow 3–5 business days for refunds to appear, depending on your payment provider.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.


Return Shipping

Where a return is approved due to fault, damage, or error on our part:

  • Return shipping costs will be covered by us

For any other approved return (where applicable):

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.


Items Not Eligible for Return

The following are not eligible for return:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect sizing selected by the customer

  • Normal wear from handling or display

  • Damage caused after delivery

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
