When sizing protectors, we consider the real-world condition of collectible packaging, including age, wear, tear, slight bulging and the fact that older boxes are not always perfectly square anymore.

The right thickness for the right product

Not every protector should use the same thickness. Smaller boxes need a material that folds cleanly and assembles without becoming awkward, while larger boxes need more structure to support bigger packaging.

For smaller PET protectors, we use 0.4mm PET where appropriate to make folding, tabbing and assembly easier. For larger PET protectors, we use 0.5mm-0.7mm PET to provide better structure and support for larger boxed items.

This means the protector is matched to the product it is designed to hold, rather than using one material thickness across everything.

Our mid to larger PET protectors include an integrated lock-in tab designed to help keep the flap secured once assembled. It is a small detail, but it makes the protector feel cleaner, more intentional and better suited to long-term display.

Each acrylic case is made from clear, rigid acrylic and is designed to hold its shape without folding, tabs or assembly. Depending on the product size, cases may be available in 5mm or 8mm acrylic thicknesses, giving collectors the option of a lighter display case or a thicker, more substantial finish.

For larger custom acrylic orders, we may also offer a 6mm + 6mm acrylic option with magnet inserts in the base, designed to provide extra strength and support for more secure stacking.

Packed with care, not thrown in a box

Shipping matters, especially for clear acrylic cases. A premium display case should not arrive scratched, cracked or loosely packed with random filler.

Our hard acrylic cases are secured inside a tight fitting bubble wrap, then placed in a shipping carton. The bubble wrap helps protect the acrylic panels, corners and edges while in transit.

For PET protectors, products are shipped flat-packed where appropriate to reduce damage risk and make delivery more practical.

Console boxes can vary a lot between regions, bundles and special editions, even when they look similar. Pre-orders help us confirm demand, produce the right sizes and avoid overstocking protectors that may only suit a small number of collectors.
